Keeping everyday lawns manageable.
Lawn mowing normally involves cutting accessible maintained grass areas and tidying practical lawn edges. The result depends on grass length, ground conditions, obstacles, season and the scope agreed in advance.
What we would need to assess
We need to understand the approximate grass area, slopes, obstacles, cut frequency and whether the lawn has been maintained recently.
Typical areas of attention
- Routine mowing of accessible grass areas
- Lawn edging alongside suitable borders and paths
- Attention around accessible garden features where practical
- Possible collection of cuttings only where arrangements are agreed
This is a proposed service description. Actual scope and availability must be confirmed before acceptance.
Small lawns, family gardens and larger plots.
A small, regular-use lawn may need different attention from a large or irregular garden. Grass on steep gradients, very wet ground or areas with concealed debris may not be suitable for routine mowing.
Weekly and fortnightly preferences may suit faster growth; four-weekly intervals may be too long at certain times of year. Frequency must be agreed after assessing the lawn.
Details that help us quote
Indicate lawn size or dimensions, when it was last cut, and any access restrictions. Move toys and loose objects where practical, and disclose pets, buried obstacles or uneven ground.
Long, heavily overgrown grass, brambles, hazardous items and significant clearance are not routine mowing and may need a different quotation.
Garden waste: Collection, removal and disposal are not assumed to be included. Please request waste arrangements separately in your enquiry.
Common questions about lawn mowing
Outcomes, timings and safe working methods depend on the garden and access arrangements.
Will you cut grass that has become very long?
Potentially only following a separate assessment. Long or heavily overgrown grass is not assumed to be normal mowing.
Do you leave lawn stripes?
Stripes cannot be guaranteed: they depend on grass, ground and equipment, and no particular equipment is promised.
Is lawn edging included?
Edging can be requested as part of a quotation. The exact sections and finish must be agreed.
What happens in wet weather?
Wet or unsafe ground may prevent mowing or require different timing. No fixed visit is guaranteed through this enquiry form.
Tell us about the work
Share the postcode, photographs if available, condition of the garden and what you would like maintained. This is an enquiry, not an accepted booking.
